I have transitioned 100 percent to teletherapy at my private counseling practice with unexpected success. It has been a new experience and has taken a while to acclimate, but I am pleased at how many of my clients have not only adapted to online therapy but have thanked me for doing it. I find, as the article indicates, the sessions can be very productive even if not as desirable as in person sessions. Online sessions are without a doubt better than discontinuing therapy especially in the midst of a pandemic which has increased many people’s anxiety and/or depression.
My business is open to all persons in Ohio. I am researching legal implications of interstate therapy and am awaiting the possibility of greater flexibility in that area. Our Governor in Ohio has been very supportive of facilitating mental health for its citizens via online therapy, which I am sure is greatly appreciated by mental health providers. Thank you Governor DeWine for your leadership. If you are interested in receiving HIPPA approved teletherapy please contact me at Still Meadow Counseling, 614-307-6698, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I have expanded my business hours fro 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturdays. I use HIPPA approved technology for all sessions and I am in network with most major insurance companies. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in scheduling an appointment. I will do my best to meet the demand. Thanks and wishing everyone safety and good health.
